Classification: Iron meteorite (IIIAB)
History: Discovered by Ashanjiang Mahemuti in the desert near Turpan city, Xinjiang Province, on March 15, 2022, and subsequently acquired by Ziyao Wang in March 2022.
This meteorite is very interesting in that it is very different from all known IIIAB meteorites. In fact, the matrix is completely natural and is not revealed by an acid bath, as is the case with other metallic meteorites! This meteorite is unique and still being studied by science.
